My good friend Miss Z, was in need of some lifestyle portraits to show off her families boisterous personality. So I dragged them to a field (one of my favorite things to do!), made them drudge through stickers and lots of weeds, some of which were taller than the girls, and the result was a fun, relaxed session highlighting their personalities and love for one another!

Even with a sick kiddo and a few sick adults, this crew made it through an adventurous session with only a few bribes and break downs. (suckers I keep hidden in my camera bag came in very handy!) Thanks guys for tromping around in the squishiness (in heels!), thanks for enduring the bugs and runny noses, and thanks for being such good sports!

Jennifer, a vivacious gal with platinum blond hair, wanted edgy, documentary, paparazzi-style images as well as a few non-traditional head shots. She needed to emphasize her busy lifestyle and her passion for her business. So the stage was set; Starbucks, all her on-the-go essentials, and a delightful surprise…an amazing field of yellow flowers overlooking the airport! Yes, I made Jennifer trudge through the weeds in her amazing high heels (sorry!), and this first image, one of my favorites, was the amazing result! Now, don’t you want THIS for your “about me” page??? I know I would! No more boring head shots with the standard grayish-blue background, lit just right, taken just below the shoulders! If you want an image to draw your readers in and see your PERSONALITY, then this type of session is for you! Whether you’re a chiropractor or a yoga instructor, chances are you have a website or a blog. So let’s put an end to the “standard head shot”!! Kelly is positively one of the most beautiful women that I know…inside and out. She just radiates, oozes beauty! Kelly is a terrific friend of mine who is a hairstylist at Bella Capelli Salon in Temecula, CA. She needed some new shots for marketing use and to show off her awesome hair, so we went on a very fun photo date and ended the day with a drink in downtown Escondido! Thanks Kelly – I had a blast!
